About TimerCountUp
TimerCountUp is an independent browser-based tool for creating countdown and count-up timer video overlays. It was built around a simple need: produce a timer asset with the right duration, appearance, resolution, and background without installing a dedicated application or rebuilding the same animation in a video editor.
What the site provides
The core Timer Overlay Recorder lets visitors configure timer mode, time format, visual style, font, color, glow, animation, background, output size, and frame rate, then record the result as a WebM video. The site also publishes practical guides that explain how those exports can be used in streaming, video editing, presentations, classroom activities, workouts, and other common workflows.
Why the guides exist
A timer file is only useful when it works in the destination project. The editorial section therefore focuses on concrete decisions such as choosing transparent versus solid backgrounds, matching aspect ratio, keeping digits readable after video compression, and handling WebM compatibility. The goal is to document real use of the tool rather than publish unrelated general-interest articles.
How the tool works with your files
The timer preview and recording are designed to run locally in the browser. TimerCountUp does not require visitors to upload their source video in order to generate a timer overlay. Third-party services used for analytics or advertising may process technical data as described in the Privacy Policy.
